This policy applies to requests to purchase wine, antique liquor and any other alcohol-restricted item presented by ArtWalk. Alcohol transactions are handled separately from ordinary catalog purchases and remain subject to availability, legal eligibility and final written approval.
1. Application only — not an order
Submitting a purchase application does not create an order, reserve an item, authorize a charge or guarantee a sale. ArtWalk first reviews the item, buyer, proposed delivery destination, licensing requirements, carrier availability, taxes and payment-provider acceptance. A sale exists only after the buyer receives final written confirmation and any required payment is accepted.
2. Buyer must be 21 or older
The applicant and purchaser must be at least 21 years old. The applicant must provide accurate legal name, date of birth, contact information and delivery details. ArtWalk, a licensed seller or a fulfillment provider may request a valid government-issued photo ID or use a lawful age-verification service. An application may be declined if identity or age cannot be verified.
3. Lawful destination and licensed fulfillment
Alcohol laws vary by state and locality. ArtWalk does not represent that an item can be sold or delivered to every destination shown on the website. Before accepting payment, ArtWalk will confirm that the transaction and delivery can be completed by an appropriately licensed seller, fulfillment provider and carrier. Applications to restricted or unsupported destinations will be declined. The buyer may not arrange forwarding, reshipment or another method intended to avoid destination restrictions.
4. Availability and bottle details
All items are subject to final availability confirmation. Vintage wine and antique liquor may be unique, privately held or represented by older catalog information. Producer, vintage, bottle size, label, capsule, fill level, packaging and other details are based on the records and images available. Buyers should request any detail material to their decision before approving a purchase.
5. Price, tax and charges
Catalog prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Before payment, the buyer will receive the applicable item price, taxes, shipping, insurance, handling and any other disclosed charge. The buyer is responsible only for charges accepted as part of the final transaction.
6. Delivery and adult signature
Alcohol will be delivered only where legally permitted and through an approved carrier or fulfillment provider. A person aged 21 or older must be present to receive the shipment, present acceptable government-issued photo identification when requested, and sign for delivery. Alcohol will not be left unattended, delivered to a minor, or delivered when the recipient appears intoxicated. Failed delivery attempts, address corrections or return-to-sender charges may be charged to the buyer when allowed by law and disclosed by the carrier or fulfillment provider.
7. Personal use; no resale
Applications are accepted only from buyers acquiring items for lawful personal use. Items may not be purchased for a minor, for unlawful resale, or on behalf of a person or business that is not legally eligible to receive them. Quantity limits may apply.
8. Vintage condition and storage history
Wine and spirits naturally change over time. Unless expressly stated in the final written confirmation, ArtWalk does not guarantee taste, drinkability, future condition or the complete storage history of a vintage bottle. Photographs form part of the item description. Variations in label condition, capsule condition, fill level, sediment and packaging should be expected in older items. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
9. Changes, cancellations and refunds
An applicant may withdraw an application at any time before a sale is confirmed. After confirmation, cancellation and return rights are governed by the final transaction terms and applicable law. If an accepted order cannot be fulfilled or shipped within the promised time, the buyer will be notified and given the options required by applicable law, including cancellation and a prompt refund when required. If an incorrect item arrives or a shipment is visibly damaged, the buyer should preserve the item and packaging and contact ArtWalk promptly with photographs so the carrier and fulfillment provider can review the claim. Alcohol must not be returned without written instructions.
10. Right to decline or cancel
ArtWalk may decline an application or cancel an unfulfilled transaction when availability cannot be confirmed; age, identity or destination eligibility cannot be verified; licensing, carrier or payment requirements are not satisfied; information appears inaccurate or fraudulent; or completing the transaction may violate law or this policy. Any payment collected for a transaction canceled by ArtWalk will be refunded as required by applicable law.
11. Information and privacy
ArtWalk uses application information to assess eligibility, communicate with the applicant, arrange lawful fulfillment, prevent fraud, maintain transaction records and comply with legal obligations. Information may be shared with licensed sellers, age-verification providers, payment processors, carriers, fulfillment providers and authorities when reasonably necessary for those purposes. 12. Policy changes and contact
ArtWalk may update this policy as legal and operational requirements change. The version effective when a sale is confirmed will govern that transaction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
